Malayalam actor Renjusha Menon, 34, was found dead at her residence in Sreekaryam, Thiruvananthapuram, on Monday.
Although the initial assumption is suicide, authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding her death, NDTV reported.
Originally from Kochi, Renjusha Menon began her career as a television anchor. Renjusha gained recognition through her performances in Malayalam TV soap operas such as Nizhalattam, Makalude Amma, Sthree and Balamani, and also appeared in movies such as City of God, Marykkundoru Kunjaadu, Thalappavu, Bombay March 12, One Way Ticket, Kaaryasthan and Athbhutha Dweepu.
She also appeared as a contestant in Kairali TV’s celebrity reality show Nakshatradeepangal.
Renjusha Menon is survived by her husband, mother and father.
