Not Dulquer, but this actor was the first choice in ‘Thug Life’?

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and renowned director Mani Ratnam have collaborated on a film titled Thug Life, and the recently released title glimpse has received an overwhelming response from the audience.

Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan is also a part of this project, but there is online speculation that Simbu was the first choice for the role offered to DQ but had to decline due to prior commitments. It is rumoured that Dulquer Salmaan will be portraying the character of a District Collector in the film.

Thug Life also stars Jayam Ravi and Trisha Krishnan in significant roles and is produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananthi under the Raaj Kamal International Films and Madras Talkies banners. The music for the film is composed by AR Rahman. Stay tuned for more updates.
